View From Parker Mesa, Topanga State Park
Parker Mesa Overlook, in Topanga State Park, was one of Sooki's favorite places to run and hike. From the overlook, you can see the Santa Monica Bay, and down the coast from Pacific Palisades to Santa Monica. Along the way to the overlook, there is a cliff over Topanga Canyon Blvd. Sooki invented a New Year's tradition where friends and family would write their wishes for the New Year on a tortilla with non-toxic markers and toss the tortilla like a frisbee off the cliff. The original painting is acrylic on canvas and signed ”Sooki.”
